We are a musical ensemble made up of musicians, coming not only from the Fubine village (Alessandria, Italy) but also from its surrounding countries, who play wind (such as clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, euphonium and tuba) and percussion musical instruments. The artistic direction of our wind band is supervised by our director Giuseppe Volpe from Montemagno (Asti), graduated at the prestigious Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini in Genoa.
Our musical activity is aimed at all public events, civil and religious solemnities, and cultural and recreational events organized in Fubine and its surrounding villages. In particular, we perform in occasion of patronal feasts, carnivals, religious processions, feasts of the police, the Alpini Corps and ANMIL, and anniversaries such as the Liberation Day (April 25th), the Giornata dell'Unità nazionale e delle Forze Armate (November 4th) and the International Workers' Day (May 1st).
Every Friday night we meet to rehearse and prepare our performances, at the Casa del Popolo in Fubine. Please come and visit us during our rehearsals: they are open to the public!
Do you want to learn playing a musical instrument? Please join our music orientation courses! We offer solfege and instrument courses, taught by our director Giuseppe Volpe, with the purpose of preparing our learners to enter the wind band as a component.
